Ok Brian, are there any restrictions on squad build for the tholian web event?
Do the squads have to be first gen and if so are we only allowed to use stuff from the Tv series or can we use stuff from the first gen movies like Kronos One and birds of prey?

Ok read the rules and if I'm not wrong there aren't any squad restrictions, so I could have a Borg sphere or two on the table

Ok gonna have to rethink my list for the tholian event. I was to excited at the idea of running the Borg Sphere that I didn't really recognize its weaknesses. While its strong enough to destroy DS-9 on its own (with the right upgrades) it would have trouble against a ship cause it cant always count on getting its strongest attack the cutting beam off. Definitely gonna have to adjust.

Ok so the retooling of my list worked, 4 rounds and I went undefeated.
40 pts Borg Sphere 4270
3 pts Tactical Drone
4 pts Seven of Nine
10 pts. Borg Ablative Hull Armor
10 pts. Borg Ablative Hull Armor
10 pts. Cloaking Device (Federation)(4pts 5pts/not Defiant 1pt out of faction)
77 pts
18 pts IRW Gal Gath'Thong
1 pt Drone
3 pts Plasma Torpedoes
22 pts
99 pts total
In all honesty the Gathong is a throw away ship (I had 23 pts after the borg)
I wanted something to soak up a lot of damage and with the upgrades the sphere could take 22 pts damage so it fit the bill.
Knowing that I would be shooting last with the Borg I needed the tactical drone so I could reroll misses with the drone tokens.
Seven was needed to refill drone tokens, Wich I did use a few times.
I took the cloak so I could have some defense dice once the sphere's shields and hull armor was gone.
I went with sphere 4270 for the extra shield and the ability to shoot multiple targets
I do have to say that while this is a great list for a tournament definitely not something that I would use in a friendly/pick-ip game.
