Noticed something while spending treasure points for a PC with a now-banned item (re:Season 8 AL). Was trying to replace it with a +1 suit of Half-plate, arguably the best medium armor available.
The treasure cost of armor is not based on its rarity or the "plus" value. It's based on the treasure table on which the armor is found. Half-plate +1 only appears on Magic Item table I, which costs 24 treasure points (which makes it as expensive as +3 plate). Chain mail +1, by contrast, is only 20 points and several adamantine armors can be gotten for 16.
Not that I have anything else to spend those Treasure points on, but this seems a little unfair.
